ABOUT JESSICA

I’m Jessica Moore and I founded Moore Advantage Communications to leverage ten years of experience in Corporate Communications and People Operations to help you highlight the most compelling aspects of who you are in written form. 


My experience helping others strengthen their written communication skills dates back to 2008 when I attended Stanford University and supported 100+ fellow students as a Writing Tutor and Career Center Student Business Advisor. After graduation, I spent the first eight years of my career at Google where I served as a strategic thought partner for a variety of internal teams and led communications campaigns for Google's most senior leaders. 


Most recently, driven by a desire to increase my business acumen, I earned my Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in May 2022. At Wharton, I double majored in Strategic Management and Organizational Effectiveness and facilitated the learning experience for 60 undergraduates as a Teaching Assistant for MGMT 101: Introduction to Management. In my current capacity, I work at Amazon Web Services (AWS) on the Talent Management Research Science Team where I translate research insights into actionable behaviors to improve manager capability. 


Outside of my professional career, I’ve spent the last fifteen years providing communications guidance to family and friends and supporting a wide range of writing initiatives, from resume reviews, grant and funding applications, college admission and scholarship essays, and curriculum development. My expertise and confidence has been strengthened over the course of my career due to exposure to world-class communications professionals.
